This is a liger, which is a hybrid cross between a male lion and female tiger. There is also such thing as a tigon, which is the exact opposite. You can see Shasta the Liger at the Monte L. Bean Museum in Provo, Utah.

Celia, this liger is so cool. How do they get ligers? Do they find them in the wild or do the breed them? I like all your other crazy animals too. You and Gus sure love animals!
